Wadzanai Training Centre

• The One51 Foundation is supporting the Wadzanai Training Centre to subsidize fees for the training to Diploma level of students. The centre is managed by the Presentation Sisters. The Foundation is providing the Youth with education not only gives them an opportunity to move out of the poverty circle but it gives them hope and dignity also.
• Zimbabwe Overview: Hit by drought, HIV/AIDS and economic meltdown, Zimbabwe is in the grip of its worst humanitarian crisis since independence. Zimbabwe has one of the lowest life expectancies in the world (43.5 years), according to the World Health Organisation. The controversial land reform programme has led to agricultural collapse and left almost one third of its population is dependent on food aid. Additionally, with the World's highest inflation rates (10 zeros dropped from the currency in August 2008), the economy is in tatters.
• Grant aid from One51 Foundation has additionally enabled Wadzanai to install broadband internet at their training centre and install a water tank to provided potable water for students.
