Irish Ethiopian Friendship Association

• The Irish Ethiopian Friendship Association (IEFA) brings together people who have an interest in Ethiopia. IEFA aims to expand information and awareness, increase cultural exchange and linkages and support specific development initiatives. IEFA is working in partnership with the Salu Self Help Centre in Awassa to help blind and handicapped people to learn skills that will help them in the future.
• The One51 Foundation has provided support for the construction of the new training centre where there will be teaching on backyard farming and poultry raising. This is of particular relevance at presence with the deteriorating food security in the region.
