Food for Life

World Scout Foundation

• The One51 Foundation have partnered with the World Scout Foundation (WSF) to implement a Food for Life Programme to provide Agricultural Life Skills to 20,000 severely disadvantaged young people across six African countries.
• This programme will prepare young people for self-sustaining economic life, helping them to take control of their lives and livelihoods. The focus of the programme covers food production and trades such as baking, carpentry and basic engineering.
• The programme is operational across South Africa since 2006 and in 2008 we launched the programme in Burundi, Uganda and Kenya.
