Focus Ireland

• The One51 Foundation is supporting Focus Ireland in its efforts to eradicate homelessness in Ireland.
• Focus Ireland is one of the leading organisations in Ireland seeking to eliminate homelessness and provide quality services, research, and advocacy for people out-of-home. They believe that every person has the right to a place they call home. Focus Ireland provides emergency, transitional and long-term accommodation for people who are homeless across Ireland.
• The One51 Foundation is supporting Focus Ireland in their strategy to make home a reality for 2,010 households by the year 2010. The One51 Foundation has significantly contributed to the provision of some 150 long-term supported housing residences for people currently homeless in Dublin, Limerick and Waterford.
• One51 Foundation's support of Focus Ireland's development programme enables Focus to provide homes for families and single adults and also to provide the necessary emotional support to help these people sustain their new home.
• In 2007, Foundation support provided the funds to help 58 households move out of homelessness.
